Writing and speaking urhobo are very diffrent!
Re: Urhobo Waado. by MissJulez(f): 12:54pm On Feb 04, 2010
Thank u very much for ur corrections! I see that I got most of them right its just my spelling of words that made it incorrect, but when speaking it aloud to myself I was saying the correct things smiley. Could you please explain to me why the word changes when being put into a sentence , E.g Akpo changed to something else when you put it in a sentence
Re: Urhobo Waado. by MissJulez(f): 1:00pm On Feb 04, 2010
Also Odis2co I want to continue greeting you for all you are doing! I appreciate it so much! God bless you x
Re: Urhobo Waado. by Odisco2(m): 1:19pm On Feb 04, 2010
Akpo (life) change in a sentence because of the vowel sounds. So when puting or using AKPO to form a sentence make sure that dot (.) appear under the "O" eg Akpò. Note: my system doesn't support dot(.) under any alphabet, that is why dot appear on top.
Re: Urhobo Waado. by Odisco2(m): 3:45pm On Feb 04, 2010
So juliet in normal english words, "Akpo" should be spelled "akpor" according to the pronunciation but you must always following the urhobo rules. I believed i have thought you the Urhobo vowel, learn them by heart.
Thank you miss juliet, i really appreciate
