3) with the efficient rate of transfer from person to person 300 m dying and quickly (not to speak of those who will need emergency care without dying) will overwhelm the best of healthcare system in the world
4) lock down, face mask (face mask does not completely abolish the risk of contracting the virus, but it drastically reduces it especially when the infected and the uninfected persons are both wearing it rightly), hand washing, physical distancing, social distancing, isolation, etc are aimed at slowing down the spread of the virus so that many people do not require emergency care at the same time. Check the case of Italy as a case study, and check the developing case in Nigeria where many hospitals are beginning to turn patients back.
5) the herd immunity alluded to by Chris Oyakhilome and by you you obviously don't understand how this works for COVID-19. Immunity developed to the SARS-CoV2 virus is not strong enough and the fact that you had previously contracted the virus doesn't eliminate the possibility of re-infection.

That is the so-called science of the lockdown and facemask. And yes, the science is solid and if not for economic considerations it should remain in effect in each country for as long as a time that will depend on the volume of emergency visits each country's healthcare system can handle.
