Am foreseeing another lockdown.

But seriously I blame our govt for dis.
they brought dis virus to the country will no complain. They still lock us for house for 38days (5weeks) with no food no money yet will endure.
Now this figure is getting increasing everyday.

If government truly want dis Covik-19 to end in Nigeria make then share Abacha loots to every Nigerians.

$311million was returned by US govt and we are 2.00million plus in Nigeria right, make then give every citizen 1million each of the money and invest the rest into the medical sector.

With dis dey can lock the country for 5months nobody cares.
you Don know maths.. the money no go reach.. as par u say 1m naira each for 200m people..

Lagos still topping the table strong. Kano giving it a run for its money. FCT and Borno hoping to clinch the converted champions league spot.

How sir?
311,000,000x360=111960000000
Then divide it by 200,000,000
111960000000/200,000,000=N559.8

I beg to differ, Covid-19 isn't an airborne disease.. If it's an airborne disease the use of mask is defeated from the get go because you still breath the same contaminated air. But Covid-19 spread through body fluid(saliva, mucus etc) from an infected person and finding it's way into an uninfected person's body.
Its airborne like the Flu bro...
the Oyibo that wears face masks are they stupid?
what of china that made facemasks compulsory?
yes i believe the facemask does little to protect because the virus can pass through the masks, it can even land on the eyeballs too, and thats the major reason why the virus' spread has been exponential so far.
Influenza was airborne.
airborne infections are mankinds biggest threats.

I am saying, an healthy person will go for a test, when they use the test kit on him that was already sprayed with corona, the test will come out positive and the person gets infected with the virus..

what am I even saying.. that Tanzania case calls for deep thinking..

Your math is faulty. If u give $1m each, only 311 people will receive. 1,999,689 Nigerians will receive nothing!

As of yesterday, coronavirus is not recognized officially as an airborne disease. The droplets carrying the virus are heavy and only travel as a metre in the air (at the very most), before dropping on a nearby surface. Hence, the mandatory use of face masks to hold in such droplets. And also to stop them from getting to your face from someone too close.

That Tanzanian testing news was very shocking.Other countries are battling how they would stop this scourge so things would return to normal.Ours faithfully are continuously looking for where to cash out.If they had done their work at least halfly few people would protest against this lockdown.

The case of Oyo state and the way the government is reacting to it is the most worrisome. You won't even believe there is any reported or confirm case of Covid 19 in the sate. The commercial busses and okada keep carrying their normal full load. In some cases, they even stuffed their passengers together like sardines. And a day hardly passes, without the state reporting at least, four cases.

I simply think the present government in the state is interested more in saying than doing.

No cause for panic.

103 deaths in 2 months out of over 200 million is still a low mortality rate compared with other killers like malaria, road accidents, poverty/hunger etc.
Again, majority of the deaths are people with serious underlying diseases that compromise their immune system.

Just wear face mask & wash/sanitize your hands frequently.
Stay at home if you can, else practice social distancing etc.

Life & hustle must go on.

I wish we could see the number of tests conducted on each day broken down by state so we can actually interpret these figures.

If a state is testing more people, a large number of new cases is not so alarming. If a state tested almost nobody, a low number is not reassuring.

as it is now, lockdown will not help us much again, we just hope a cure surfaces asap, and for all those branding their cures, govt should just try them on the patients, as far as the ministry of health refuses to try the meds produced locally to check their efficacy, it means govt is hiding smth or there are more sinister moves than meets the eye....now ppl are shouting and saying the Lockdown should not have been lifted, but many families with kids to cater for have started suffering....and govt cannot help, so they have to follow the unfortunate option
