On the 14th of August 1976, Ogbunike Community assembled at Eke Olisa/Obi Ogbunike to pronounce that Ogbunike has been blessed with a king (Igwe) titled Ezedioramma, by name Igwe John Ositadimma Umenyiora.

On the 20th of December 1976, he was crowned as Ezedioramma 1 of Ogbunike:

Quintessential Monarch, aLegend socially, politically and Traditionally, a King who added Glamour to Royalty, Eze Ndi Eze.

His Majesty Igwe John Ositadimma Umenyiora who built an Iconic building along Agbani Road in Enugu with rotating electronic sign fixed on the roof of the glass edifice which could be seen miles away in the city. The building was such a great landmark then in the seventies (about 1973) emblazoned with trademark UNICCO rotated effortlessly.

In compliance with Igwe Ogbunike constitution 1978 Paragraph 8 & 9 (1,2 & 3) and having been empowered by the Igwe Ogbunike constitution 1978 as the only competent person to announce the death of Igwe Ogbunike I, Chief Anene .C. Osadebe GON, AkaEze (Prime Minister) Ogbunike and Acting Igwe Ogbunike hereby ANNOUNCE THE DEATH OF EZEDIORAMMA 1 OF OGBUNIKE which took place on the 28th April 2020 by 12:00 Noon.
