Of course they can. Any society that have survived the onslaught of the European barbaric adventurism in Africa, can survive as an independent country in this modern time. They have been an independent societies in the past, they can still be in the future.

It has it's own army; the Swiss Guards. It has it's own Central Bank; The Vatican Bank AKA The Institute for the Works of Religion. It's a country all right in every sense of it.

What has Nigeria achieved as a big country blessed with natural and mineral resources? Having access to sea and human resources too, but nothing serious.

1. Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. Encircled by a 2-mile border with Italy, Vatican City is an independent city-state that covers just over 100 acres, making it one-eighth the size of New York's Central Park. Vatican City is governed as an absolute monarchy with the pope at its head

I like this picture you posted of Africa. You can see Chad, Ethiopia, Botsawana, Niger and many others are landlocked and doing well.

The one that impresses me is that of Ethiopia. When Eritrea became an independent country, Ethiopia became landlocked. Some people thought that Ethiopia would start begging Eritrea for access to the Sea. Ethiopia developed its Air transport system and started importing and exporting almost everything they want with Airplanes. Today, Ethiopian Airlines is probably the largest Airline in Africa. Testament of wonder

You said this the other day and I asked you the percentage of imports and exports by Ethiopia compared to their total trade and you ran away.

Stop spewing lies and propaganda, you now know that Biafra would be landlocked you have started hyping air transport
Tell us how many landlocked countries trade with the rest of the world by air, I'm waiting and don't run away
