They are changing though and it's rapid. BTW, I observed that the 2 countries where our major religions emerged practice their own with sense but unlike the way it is practiced in this country. (1) Women are not free because they're over protective of their women

- Their men go yo the market to get the food, cos they don't want their women to be stressed

- Before the law allowed women to drive, their men drive because they feel the women may be exposed to stress and problems on the road

- Even in the Kaaba mosque, the husband guard their wives cos he doesn't want anyone to touch her

so what's all these referring to is that they're being protective of their women, they respect them.

(2) They've capital punishment doesn't mean they're bad, If a country wants to suppress her criminality, capital punishment seems the best way for people, what's the essence of non-capital punishment that there citizens still rape and kill thousands every year, either by murder or any other minor cases.

Now , how many murder and rape case occur in Saudi, its because they know there's a big punishment for that.
Those that they always behead self are mostly drug traffickers from other countries.
Well, we can see Nigeria with non-capital punishment for her citizens how she's progressing.

My friend, to be truthful if you know that one of your hands will be chopped off when you steal, you won't ever dare it. you won't want to loose your hand and the stigma and disgrace that people would know u stole for your hand being chopped off is something else.
