The John Frazer Scholarship is an honours and postgraduate research scholarship that aims to support honours and postgraduate research students studying in the Department of History at the University of Sydney, Australia.

This scholarship was established in 2020 to provide assistance to honours and postgraduate research students studying in the Department of History to pursue advanced studies or research in the field of history.


It is funded by a bequest made by the Honourable John Frazer, MLC in 1890.

John Frazer Scholarship 2020/2021 Benefits
A successful recipient enrolled full-time will receive the Scholarship for up to one year and the Scholarship will be valued at:

$5,000 per annum for full-time enrolled Honours students
$8,500 per annum for full-time enrolled Masters by Research or PhD students
