Wike is no nonsense governor, strong and whatever puffed up name his minions call him. Just know that he is a master of the game of rubble rousing. Within this period, he has amused his fans with his supposed tough talks and threats to their excitement. Let us visit some.
1. His drama with Bristow pilots. He rained sulphur and brimstone and at the end what happened. NOTHING. He claimed that the owner of the company had to beg him and based on that he Wike had to soft pedal. Awesome. I don't want to go into details of how his spokesman was grasping to tell the world that the pilots were not in detention but were put in a hotel in Port Harcourt. As of today, oil workers fly in and out of Rivers state and Wike has kept mute.
2. ExxonMobil workers. What has happened to those workers? Are they in detention? Is the case in court?. Like I said, oil and gas workers on essential duties go about their business freely in Rivers state. Incidentally to his minions, the almighty Wike will not allow anybody even mandated by the FG to "do any how" in Rivers state.
3. Wike said he would deport all almajiris in PH back to their states. I want to get from his pawns the number he had deported, the dates he deported them and which media showed this deportations. Many state governors did send almajiris out of their states and the action preceded the talk. With no talk, they did it but Wike in his characteristic manner boasted of doing it just to present himself as the fearless one to his goons without a corresponding action.
4. Recently vehicles and people were intercepted during the current lockdown and the fearless governor has proclaimed that the vehicles would be auctioned. Of particular mention is a truck carrying cattle and people from Adamawa state. The governor even made a donation of 5Million naira to the community's vigilante group for arresting this truck. Have the cattle been auctioned yet? We don't hear anything about auctioning again.
These are some of the ego massaging boasts from governor Wike who has mastered ways of exciting his fans. There are plenty governors out there who doing great works to curb this pandemic and we don't hear much drama from them. Wike should learn to act more and talk less but what can I say, you may have to blame it on the alcohol.
Now over to his minions .........

Do you know that Governor Wike said it on Ait that the PDP youth leader was declared wanted 3 years ago in the state?... The Task force is just enforce the lock down and nose mask so i don't see why they need police protection.

Are you sure you reside in Nigeria, or did you just came back from the US? People even beat security personnels who asked them to go back home not talking of someone without even cutlass.

Lagos that destroys thousands of bikes quarter after quarter.. are the bikes not means of employment to people?...is the destruction of bikes in the constitution?...

So Anambra that has given the go ahead for things to return normal for weeks now are dying right?

Most of you clapped for Obiano and Makinde for their actions, but also keep praising Wike for an opposite action to the ones you were clapping for before now even when the cases in Rivers are lower than those states.

Isn't that double standard? Isn't that wrong?
What do you people want?

Businesses are dying. Some firms won't be finding it easy after this lockdown.
I thank God that my firm is a servicing firm, it will be tough but I believe by God's grace we will come back better.

If only you have a business or working, I believe you would have seen things from a different direction.

Well, it's because you have not lost relatives, friends or partners to the virus... when you do and they tell you it was as a result of someone's greed and selfishness, then you can blame accordingly.

Keep quiet, cutting of the head is never the remedy for headache, wike has no reason to demolish that hotel, what happened to locking it up? Use ur head now.

I watched Wike yesterday defending rubbish like he is the head of Agbero in mile 12.

Trying so hard to defend that he don't care if the PDP youth leader is from his party and if it were to be other party they will protect their own............

First PDP and Wike (National Chairman) knew this guy before now and they appointed him as PDP youth leader........

all this while we never saw pictures of injured Task Force until yesterday ....... pictures of badged people with no stain at all.

Power can bring u down.......

Call your governor to order. He can't be rude to FG and expect favour. He has stated that interest of Rivers State is more important to him even to the detriment of FG interest. He is free to use Cultists, political hoodlums and his so called first citizen power to empower the task force.

Which favour are you talking about? Is Nigerian police a favour to any state? The Fg and the IG should go further and withdraw their entire useless policemen from Rivers State!

And when the State decides to float their own police force, the Fg should not complain!

There is restrictions on interstate movement but a mobile policeman is helping someone I know to go deliver a car.... As a matter of fact, I'm sure he has already gotten to his destination as we speak cos he drove away right in my front. Is it not his colleagues that are on the road and would issue him a pass despite the fact that interstate travels are banned?
that is the reason they were withdrawn, so why is PDP and IPOB crying? The governor complain and the IG complied to his request.

The IG shouldn't have done that, because this battle involves everyone. As for the police they are really corrupt, in Lagos here for instance during the lock down police were collecting 500naira from bus drivers not minding that their bus is loaded full with people, and now from 8pm the police still collect money undermining the curfew. Please be sincere is that not sabotaging the effort on the fight against covid 19?. Why I used Lagos as reference is because, it is where I witness it on daily basis, and I believe it happens other places too and the authorities there chose to keep quiet.
