realstars: Could be because NCDC doesn't double test patoents anymore once they have tested negative. Afterwards, they just send you home. We need more bedspace. |

The Number of new cases is decreasing while people been release is increasing. This is fairly a good news for Lagos in the last two days compared to when Lagos was on 150+ daily. People have to understand that lockdown without massive testing and contact tracing doesn’t work. Russia lifted their lockdown yesterday. They were very disciplined yet, recording 10,000 cases daily with 40% asymptotic. To be honest, lockdown wouldn’t work in Nigeria with just few test conducted in the last 3 months. If testing capacity can be increased by 50,000 daily, Nigeria will kiss this virus goodbye in the next 30days but even 50k had not been tested since inception. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sunisonflex39: The reason why the cases are increasing in Port Harcourt is because we are now testing. With Shell donating testing materials and I think Total E & P, the numbers will keep climbing. As we get more testing done, we will see increases. At least now, Rivers State will know... Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones. 2 Likes |

After all Wike's demolition shouting, he could not release money to the Rivers State Ministry of Health to secure a testing lab, let alone mobile labs for rural areas. Only demolition...

andrewtosin:The question is simple and it doesn't require much argument, how many people dropped dead in your area as a result of Corona virus? The truth is that, the fatality ratio is very low. Ebola virus is among the deadliest viruses, with a CFR as high as 90%. But reverse is the case of covid19 having a case fatality ratio of 3%, why the panic when you can heal from the virus without any form of treatment. 2 Likes |

I do feel a lot need to be done about this testing of a thing. The purchase of test kit should be looked upon. Seriously if we want to at least ease this a little bit the Federal house needs to sit and talk responsibly on upgrading the daily amount of testing. Thought they want a 2500 test/daily but what do you have less than a 100 test in a day. Someone up there is really making a mockery of this Nation. Almighty God open we the citizens of Nigeria eyes to see how we all can get out of this pandemic faster. |
