Probably because a minority suffer from neurological disorders that are known to result in lucid/vivid dreaming  . This is not the health section though |

I have experienced it before I realize when I was still dreaming that I was having just a dream, initially I was scared in the dream but after realization i just laughed in the dream, knowing it was just a dream, before I woke up. I find it strange but now I'm glad it's a universal phenomenon. |
