Government should stop giving
allocation to local government councils, evidence on ground shows that there is nothing on ground to show that such huge amount of money had been spent there, most of the staff of these local government councils have not been paid for months if not years, what is the constitution when it is not followed, and why is it that EFCC has not probed any local government chairman in Nigeria since its inception

CONTINUE WITH YOUR ILLICIT SHARING OF THE MONEY IN THE NATIONAL TREASURY.

Nations of the world are building alternative source of revenue to improve on their internally generated revenue ( IGR )

The federal government is busy sharing funds to LAZY AND FEEDING BOTTLE STATES in Nigeria.

Many of the leaders that are receiving this money have not even visited CRUDE OIL PRODUCING COMMUNITY to see the suffering the people in those community pass through in the processing of ensuring that the national treasury have funds to run the operations of government in Nigeria.

THEIR MENTALITY IS TO COLLECT MONEY AND SPEND.

What an illusive way of thinking?

Nigerians hold your Governors accountable. No be only Buhari be our problem grin grin.

Paid poster, the centre is our only problem in nigeria.

Virtually every aspect of Nigeria has been forcefully kept under the presidency, over 400 parastatals are under the presidency.

Giving governors a paltry sum of 3 - 4 billion naira monthly wont solve nigerias problems, each state should be allowed to own their natural resources n mine dem, that's the only way we can develop

Until we admit to ourselves that we are a poor country, we cannot get anywhere.

Even if we produced and sold 6 million barrels a day, we would still be very poor. As it's 70% our income source. Under 150 to 200 trillion Naira budget is inadequate. Comprehensive health care, Education, infrastructure (roads, water, electricity, railway, etc), welfare system, housing, Agric subsidy, recurrent expenditure/civil service, science & tech, defense, law enforcement/security, judiciary, political institutions, etc.

We should mellow and eat humble pie. Beginning with family planning/birth/population control. Otherwise we will just be producing more criminals and street urchins.

Population is not the problem. China is over 1.3 billion pple n they are doing well.

Besides Nigeria's real population is around 100 million.

China introduced one child policy almost 50 years ago to damp population growth. While using that time to plan. Yet China still has many rural poor. Imagine if they were 2.6 to 3 billion. shocked

Population always matters in developing countries. Even most developed countries, despite their low birth rate, still try to control population by preventing immigrants aside those with high skills.

Even if our population is 80 million, we are clearly still not able to provide for them. No roads, no light, classrooms bursting at the seams, high unemployment, 70% poverty.

"Even most developed countries, despite their low birth rate, still try to control population by preventing immigrants aside those with high skills"

False.
The most developed countries that enforced low birth rate have been looking for foreigners to power their work force. Germany for instance has been bringing in migrants in massive millions from the middle east for the past 2 decades.

""we are clearly still not able to provide for them""

We are clearly not able to provide for 80 million people because Nigeria is a hopeless zoo nation. How can a nation of 80 million people generate only 2billion dollars in 1 month n budget 25 billion dollars in one year (25 billion dollars is less than south Africans education sector budget).

Population has never hamted development in any nation on earth, dont ever make that excuse

We need resource control to be productive

Including human resources. We need to create more value for money in non-oil sectors especially manufacturing industries and services such as health, finance, education etc. We do not pay for services in this country.

And what's wrong with his observation? Isn't it right. It seems you are a guilty party and his comment hit you so hard. Many poor Nigerians are in such a tight position right now because of the number of children they gave birth to that they can't even cater for.
