Du Wei the Chinese Ambassador to Israel found dead at home in Tel Aviv. The Diplomat a former Diplomat to Ukraine and presently serving in Israel. The 58 year old Du Wei was appointed China's envoy this February, 2020.

The circumstances surrounding his death is yet disclosed while reporting this news. However, the Israeli Police is said to be carrying out investigation on his death to determine the through cause of his death. The Ambassador is survived by wife and a son which at the time of his death are not resident in Israel.

Du Wei was involved in diplomatic roar with US secretary of State over the issue of coronavirus. He was said to have condemned the US statement on China. He said "China has never covered up the outbreak. COVID-19 is a brand new virus that has never been seen in human history."

According to report, he died in his Herliya home in Israel and no information on the early and unfortunate death of the diplomat.
