A pure assembly plant with a foreign name whereas the indigenous manufacturer, Innoson, is bearing its brand name and making more and more of its parts within the country. Tomorrow now yorubas will claim to be the first to start manufacturing trucks in Nigeria in the same way they claimed UI is the first university in Nigeria whereas it is UNN.

Truck manufacturing plant is not anyhow project, how many developed countries in this world manufactured Trucks not much, also Nigeria steal industry is a shit mess, and the materials are not available. So this is a good start and with time we would get there.

That is why it is important to restructure the country so that states can be independent TO COMPETE FOR INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT. As long as Okowa depends on allocation and you depend on Okowa's grace, nothing will happen.

In a restructured Nigeria the governors will compete intensely to have investment to their domains. They will struggle amongst themselves to have you and I entrepreneurs, investors ahd businessmen into their states, courting us as rockstars because they will need us to survive, to pay their workers and pave their roads. That is how nations develop.

Productivity will become attractive instead of the present rent seeking economy. Contractors will die off naturally in favour of industrialists. Those who can create lots of jobs and pay heavy taxes will be given the keys to the city gates.

It is the nature of man to be indolent when life exists without vision and without labour. That is why those who inherit great riches and those who win massive lotteries can never be successful. Nigeria's hitherto and mistaken oil riches has brought us nothing but poverty, indolence, division and backwardness. We need to change the structure that it birthed and supported for 60 years.

Yes Dongfeng produce nuclear warhead truck in china. Now they are in nigeria. Unlike sino truck truck in ikeja. At least its good for Nigeria to be selling trucks out. With time time we will start producing its parts here.
