A suspected kidnapper has been apprehended in Plateau state. Ali Mohammed was one of several gunmen who raided the Senior Staff Quarters of the University of Jos on Friday. The gunmen kidnapped a seven-year-old after killing her lecturer father, Nendi Drengkat. However, the police soon caught up with the fleeing kidnappers and rescued the seven-year-old and another victim. Mohammed was arrested during the rescue operation.
