Basic knowledge you need to know as a Scientist in programming.
1) Web design, basically refers to the visual design and creation of documents that appear on the World Wide Web. Most businesses today-- both prominent and small have website.
High-quality web design plays important role in attracting first-time and repeated visitors.
Equally important is the content of the website and how that content is structured.
2) Web Programming, generally refers to the design of software applications for a website.
Basically, a Web developer works behind the scenes to develop software applications that access database and file systems, communication with other applications, and perform other advanced tasks.
To become a successful engineer/scientist in programming, you need to understand the basics of client/server architecture.
Traditionally, the server is usually some sort of database from which a client request information.
A server fulfills a request for information by managing the request or serving the requested Information to the client. A system consisting of a client and server is known as a two- tier system.
One of the primary roles of the clients, or front end, in a two-tier system is the presentation of an interface to the user.
The User Interface gathers information from the user, submits it to a server, or back end, then receives, formats, and presents the results returned from the server.
The main responsibility of a server are usually data storage, management, and communicating with external services.
On client/server systems, heavy processing, such as calculations, usually takes place on the server.
However, many clients/server systems have placed increasing amounts of processing responsibilities on the client.
A client computer might contain a front end that is used for requesting information from a database on a server.

The internet is a vast network that connects computers all over the world.
The internet was developed in the 1960s by Advanced Research Projects Agency.
The 1980s saw the widespread development of local area networks (LANs) and the personal computer.

Between 1990 and 1991, Tim Berners-Lee created what would become the world wide web, or the web, at European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland, as a way to easily access cross-referenced documents stored on the CERN computer network.
When other scientists and academics saw the usefulness of Berners-Lee's system, the web as we know it today was born. The method of accessing cross-referenced documents, known as hypertext linking, was, in the early years, one of the most important aspects of the web because It allowed users to open other web pages quickly. A hypertext or a link, contains a reference to a specific web page that you can click to open that web page.
A document on the web is called a web page and is identified by a unique address called the Uniform Resource Locator, or URL. URL is commonly known as the web address.
The term website refers to the location on the internet of a set of web pages and related files (such as graphics and video files) that belong to a company, organisation, or individual. You display a web pages on the screen of a computer, tablet, or phone by using a program called a web browser.
A web server is a computer that delivers web pages. What the web server returns to user is called the response.

Search Engine Optimization is the process of organising the structure of a web page and content, having search engine in mind.

Make sure all pages wanted to index is crawl by search engines. Monitor even once a month your index pages and below are the procedure to check;
Search Console (Google and Bing) - Coverage Report
Manual Checking - Insert in Google Search; “site:domain.com”
2. If you have more than hundred of pages, then the XML sitemap is a must. Below is the procedure to ensure the proper handling of an XML sitemap.
Submit XML sitemap in search console (Google and Bing)
Add XML sitemap in robots.txt. Ex. sitemap:https://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml
Make sure your XML sitemap is properly created. Ensure the following;

4. Organize Link Structure - proper internal linking is also essential for the website because of the following;
Allow the users to navigate the site properly.
It helps for a proper hierarchy of information for the given website.
Spread link equity around the website pages.
5. Link building campaign - Always part of the optimization process, which is to promote the website pages that wanted to be seen in the search results. Below are quick and easy few link building activities you may start;
Participate in different forums that related to your industry. Be an expert to others.
Submit in different local business listing. Provide the website profile.
Comment on blog articles that related to your industry. Provide your feedback on the said topic.

Tim1212:In other to reach 7 from 5, you have to move two steps in the positive direction (right side of 5). The more you move to the right, the larger a number becomes.

Many of students know the answer, but can't explain the result.
However becoming a scientist or engineer in programming requires you know how to interpret every concept..
From the question
5 + 2 = 7
It simply means that you move 2 distance from 5 to approach 7 in the number line.
I.e moving 5 forward 2 distance in the number line.

-3 is originally called negative 3 (-3), while -5 called negative five (-5).
In this logical expression, -3 is greater than -5 . Because -5 Is a small number, and -3 lies to the right of -5
Programming logic follows this approach to determine which number is less than or greater than.
Negative real numbers are very small numbers.
