Post COVID-19 Advice to Churches & their Leaders cool
(A must read for every church leader and Christian)

It is definitely longer news that the recent pandemic has affected the church and the impact is such that it will take a longer time for the church to recover.

Of course, the fear of unknown even with the increasing numbers of cases and deaths will create a lot of doubt in the mind of members and many will prefer doing online services at the comfort of their homes.

Thus, the numbers of membership, worshipers and even cashflow will be affected and yet the church still have to sustain the maintenance of her huge and magnificent buildings that are mostly and currently on loans!

What then should the leadership of the church do?

1. Accept the reality without deceiving ourselves (even the great Prophet Elijah accepted the fact that the Brook Cherith dried up)

2. This is the best time to show that the church cares beyond the concerns of offerings and titles (Even our Lord Jesus demonstrate the importance of feeding (food) the same congregation after preaching the word)

3. Adopt and make the best use of electronic channels to make impacts upon people (if the world can use Internet to their advantage, have you thought of what the WORD's impact will be through the same channel)

4. With lost of jobs on the increase, people want to hear teachings that will inspires and empower them in order for them not to end up begging to eat (this is the best time to teach and faciliate opportunities for members)

5. Leadership of churches should stop all the fighting, envy and hatred but rather United for the gospel...(we are actually the enemy of ourselves not even the devil)

6. This is the best time for discipleship not building of the churches (who the church building help?.... abeg build people)

7. Every man's goal should be the pursuit of making Heaven through Holiness and Dedication to God (Covid-19 taught us a great lessons that even money and power can fail)

These are just deep thoughts coming to mind and they are my views.....you can share yours too!
