The house your Dad built, who is living there now?

What makes you think the ones you are building now your children will live there?

How are you sure they will live in Nigeria. Ten years now, the house will be out of fashion.

Stop killing yourself.

This wife of yours that is pushing you for greener pasture, might not mourn you for a year before she start with your friend just to keep her little Secret before the time is ripe.

Your husband might not even mourn you for 6 months, before your friend will move in.

Stop treating God's treasures (Humans) like trash.

Those children of yours you want to train in Harvard, may just like to be a DJ or a musician that SSCE dropouts are also doing successfully.

The day you die, your account officer will reduce your money to ten percent. You are not alive because of what you have, you're alive to serve God and humanity.

Your house may be old, but the school bag or books you bought for another man's child will continue to grow.

This is not a call to mediocre.

Vanity is hidden in time.

Humanity Should Always Be The Priority.!!!

Good day

True talk.
you will never be remembered for the money you have.
you will never be remembered for how beautiful or handsome you are.
you will only be remembered for your ability to impact the lives of others.
you will only be remembered for your legacy and good deeds. undecided

Why am I seeing this thread just after going through the life and times of the Bayelsa born billionaire who was buried last weekend after he lost his life in a cosmetic surgery gone wrong. According to reports and from the accounts of those who knew him in person, he was a wonderful soul. A pastor with a renowned ministry, a politician with a heart of gold, and a God-sent philanthropist. I am not one to judge but was that surgery necessary?!? The answer, a big NO, breaks my heart to a thousand pieces. He was a minister of God, before he moved into the theatre did he call the founder of his ministry for prayers and blessings and if he did, did the said founder try to talk him out of it, trying to make him see the vanity of his moves?!
You see his pictures and videos online with him chilling in private jets, wining and dining with the high and mighty (he was reputed to be the godson of an ex president, while Duncan Mighty sang his name in his Hit-Track "Port-Harcourt first son" ), having the times of his life with a lovely wife, and giving back to the society, the less privileged and widows, one would believe he had it all, the sky could not be his limit. But amidst all the gold, glamour and splendour he had a lust, a passionate desire to change the way he looked. Going through his photos online I noticed he kept hiding his tummy with his arm a psychologist will tell you that paints the picture of a man who was never satisfied with his appearance in the mirror (check up Body dysmorphic disorder meaning). The truth of it all was that no one cared about his looks, most people cared about his heart, his brains and his benevolence, his wife should have reminded him that.
That one thing which no one cared about, that one thing which everyone was okay with, that was the one thing he craved so much to change and it became his undoing. For Christ sakes our society today still believe a bloated tummy is a mark of wealth and wealth was his second name (who will ever mention his name without calling him a billionaire).
Why go under the surgeon's knife just to look beautiful in the eyes of others.
If you reading this be reminded that a cosmetic/plastic surgery, a surgery to change your appearance is never worth the risk, ask Stella Obj, ask Kanye west's Mom, ask Michael Jackson, what do these three people have in common ?! now we have to add the name of a prominent Bayelsan to that list...........sad cry

My condolences to the bereaved which includes the entire people of Bayelsa, God will grant you the grace to bear the loss. And to the deceased, rest in the bosom of Abraham.
