Na ojoro, you see say dem remove Kano State from the league table...for some days now Kano has not been participating at all on the league, which is highly suspicious!

Something fishy is happening, these are fake results.
It is because the Salah celebrations is near. They want to justify going out en masse on those days. They will return to the league table in full force after the Eidel Fitri celebrations. Watch out!

If Wike had a tipoff on the score board for today, he wouldn't have granted the 6 day relaxation of the lockdown.

For those of you in Rivers, enjoy while it last. Because after now, he will shut down the state and fling the key into the Atlantic ocean.
He wont do that. Moreover, people coming into the state are contributing to the spread eg oil workers

So despite the total lockdown or whatever in Port Harcourt, the number of cases are still soaring high by the day.

Then Rivers is going in for the worst.

You guys feel when you pull down people, you are sharper.

The testing happening in the State is due to Shell providing testing equipments and also another from Total. From the Governor's remark, a lot of the testing is done on Oil field workers. This is in no way enough. We need mobile test centres in large amount and we need the Rivers State Government that gets allocations and IGR to disperse some of the funds to help increase testing to a high magnitude.

Trying to raise shoulders with abusive tone does not give your point credence.

We need more testing labs in the State. Mobile labs to get into the rural areas. We néed funds to bring in medicine for early treatment.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

Apologies, I needed to attack some of the people saying thrash..you just so were unfortunate to be in the line of fire..

On the funding of additional test centres you talked about, states are in precarious situations at the moment with plummeting revenues as a result of the crash in oil prices and the lockdown caused by the pandemic means igr is at all time low...even the Federal government and the Lagos state government with huge revenue base are calling out for assistance how much more Rivers or other states .

States also have other responsibilities besides health issues, there are salaries to be paid and contract obligations to be fulfilled amongst others.

The federal government for whatever reason is also selective in those it gives out financial assistance to ...atleast the Rivers state government for all the media hype and sensational statements should be given a measure of commendation for bringing the oil majors to act by the way Peter Odili donated about 1 or 2 PCR machines too.

when Brother covid was in wuhan, we saw how people died on the street, in Italy we saw how people struggled to breathe, shit medical practitioners even committed suicide when they test positive,
until Nigeria got involved,
Corona no longer required ventilators,
people started becoming asymptomatic abi ki Lo n pe?
people started dancing in isolation centres
you lockdown the country since March,
till today, the infected people you locked down in their homes didn't die on the street,
the only positive people are the ones you tested
the people dieing are the ones with serious death ailments,
do me a favour and gerrarahia
you working there will come and testify,
because u get daily payments and wouldn't want this scam to stop,
same as all of u at NcdC,
Corona virus is real in naija to u,
it's has no cure, it kills and u are giving people malaria drugs and discharging them,
to hell with y'all
u get sense bro, and the analyses is perfect, still some idiots will still not understand ur point, stupid leaders, unintelligent citizens everywhere. That is why they say they are unemployable, common/simple logic they will still not understand.

Good move by Sir Dr. Peter Odili. With the kits we have, we need a thorough risk assessment of the Covid-19 spread in the State. A systematic survey.

I feel we are playing with this virus. We also need the private sector stakeholders to do more but the State Government need to show the zeal.

At the moment, everything is tied to this virus. Businesses can't operate, schools can not work, civil servants can't go to work. We need to prioritise stopping the virus before other expenses after paying salaries.

There is no way we can not make avenue for at least five mobile labs. To lead the fight against the virus. Until now, I am yet to hear of the Rivers State Government providing testing equipments which is terrible. Allocations are reduced, not stopped.

Our livescore came so early tonight

Why can’t NCDC release the numbers of samples collected and tests done?
These will allow us to compare the daily activities and monitor our curves. I think this is the essence of the numbers being released daily. Not just releasing numbers like a “Baba Ijebu” kinda lotto or bet9ja virtual games.

The daily results are meant for decision making on the way forward and the knowledge of the efficiency of our system being handled by the NCDC.
Good!!!
