In the age of COVID19 why not invest in the current universities and higher institutions to increase their capacity to provide distance learning thereby expanding their reach at less the cost.

ONLY if they know hundreds of secondary School students turns out yearly to join those ones that were unable to secure admission as Nigeria institution can take JUST roughly 300'000 students yearly. India has the services, manufacturing and agriculture industries that can absorb the millions of graduate that they produce. Nigeria cannot even pay the salaries of the universities lecturers.

What matter is not the number of graduates, but the quality of graduates.

India generates 376 GW and i read they are going to tipple this output within 15 years, thats crazy
while Nigeria has mere not more then 8000MW (Only one city in India can consumes more then what total Nigeria can produce).
