I shall be the president and minister of education concurrently. We have problems in different sectors of the nation because what we call education here is failure... And it is this failure we employ on daily basis into different institutions of state. |

I highly doubt that the whole of Osun state enjoys this. Sammy07: |

How will you ensure that this is effective? For one, as long as we still produce crude oil, non-producing states will say it's unfair to decentralize the economy. So how will you tackle this and how would you create a level-playing field for each state? Why data collation and ID? What's the goal? nickyvil: |

Exactly my point. Everyone seems to know the problem. Why then are we still stuck here and no one has solved it yet? BeLookingIDIOT: 1 Like |

A nation gets the leader it deserves. This simply means that most Nigerians will get into power and do the same thing. Meanwhile, we've had really good people in government but the systems and structure (which you will have to fight to achieve this by the way) are so formidable that you will most likely be ineffective. When I talk about human capacity development I mean specific modern skills that will enable us develop manpower that can produce our needs locally. Eg, battle tanks, fighter jets, planes, ships, turbines, cure to diseases etc. You and I know that the training Nigerians are getting from our institutions of is not sufficient. K0y3: |

Norahsthought: What you have up there is a mere opinion. If all an individual sees are impossibilities, then, there's a problem. HINT: If you want corrupt structures to collapse, touch the resources of the men behind such structures. BTW, Nigeria is yet to be fortunate with selfless, visionary leadership. Good people are not necessarily good leaders. |

Norahsthought: Lies. Nigerians do like to pay for things, that’s what you see families killing themselves and selling their properties to send their children abroad to the white man’s universities. If you provide power, Nigerians will pay for it because it will be cheaper than the cost of owning and maintaining a generator |
