Let me say this as clearly as I possibly can. NEVER EVER APPLY ANY HERBAL MIXTURE ON YOUR BABY'S SKIN. I can see some people suggesting that already. Take your child to a dermatologist cos there are lots of questions that need to be further explored.

Some of these questions are
1. Is the rash itchy?
2. Has any antibiotic being given?

If i must make any suggestions, then buy mupirocin cream or altergo cream. Apply twice daily until the rashes clear.

My second differential is scabies. But that will depend on whether the rashes are itchy and whether anyone one else in the family is also itching as well.

Third differential will be tungiasis. This can be recurrent and stems from where you spread your kids clothes.

Since you have tried a doctor and it didn't go.....Go meet those women selling herbs, show them your baby skin and they will give you what to use.....i think the it is in her blood and it needs to be cleansed out

stfu....u think they don't know.....or won't like to.,what if no money at hand currently and they here hoping to get advice from someone that has had such experience before.,who went to a doc....

Most likely an infection

My daughter had something like this when she was a baby
Very stubborn

It has to be treated from within with antibiotics

Give her boiled water only to drink

Use amplicose I was once into your shoes after using alot of drugs and taken injections it refuses to go until I used amplicose to kill the skin rashes away..thank me later..

Don't go far sister, visit those old wowems selling herbs leafs in the Maket with the baby , they we arrange the leafs for u to cook so that u we bathing the beautiful baby and drinking.

Title should have included GRAPHIC PHOTO. It's more than disturbing. My take is that you should take the baby to the nearest health center for proper diagnosis.. Check my signature, i sell pre-downloaded udemy, lynda and skillshare courses(hundreds of gigabytes of them). In any skills you might wanna learn. There are courses for children too

Rashes should have graphic photos...

I don't get how your child shows the level of skin challenge and nairaland is where you thought to come get help. Go to a hospital, do a test and let the professional tell you what to do.

Seeking advice from people who have experienced the same problem with you is never a bad thing...infact, itz a wise thing to do...

Yoruba called this "Ale efo" . Kindly go to Alagbo people. They will give you an herb you will use in bathing her.

There is this one particular flower the leave is red in colour.. You can book it and bath him with it.

Even bitter leave and 7 keys to power can also cure it in addition.

My son had similar challenge but when a woman recommended routine drugs for my wife that's all,we have breathed relief. Just folic Acid,b-complex,and vitamin c it works like magic.NB no antibiotics can do permanently, it will only give quick cure and it reappears late but this routine will get your child's skin back. Don't stop administering the drugs even when it clears,it will boast the child's immunity.

Most times when issue like this are presented for diverse opinions some would just be shouting Nairaland is not a doctor or hospital without reading. If you read the post before commenting you would have seen where she wrote that she already saw a Doctor but the rashes persisted.

It is okay to advice that she use a specialist in children issues (pediatrician) in case the Doctor she met before was a general one. However, I still believe there are chances of meeting mothers who have handled such issues here. At least from their experience her shots would be directed to a target instead of shooting into the air.

Poor baby! I know noone wants to visit the hospital in this pandemic. Check the soap, water, mattress, & food. It's an allergic reaction but no one knows.
