What's Hate Speech?

Cambridge Dictionary defined hate speech as public speech that expresses hate or encourages violence towards a person or group based on something such as race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.

Below are the violence inciting statements Nnamdi Kanu allegedly made;

1. "...When we speak, the Zoo trembles, that is what happens when a cattle rearing terrorist and paedophile is your ruler."

2. "If you find anybody in your village asking after Radio Biafra kill the baboon Awusa Fulani or Yoruba bastard. Let them keep searching as we keep tweeting for #Biafra."

3. "Buhari is a shameless Paedophile and rapist."

4. "Buhari is a Terrorist he should be killed."

5. "Nigeria is a zoo and everybody living in that
Godforsaken zoo deserves to die."

6. "Kumuyi should be stoned and dealt with thoroughly if he comes to Aba for his planned crusade."

7. "The imbecilic Goodluck Jonathan is a disgrace to humanity and deserves to be skinned alive for handing over to an Hausa goat."

8. "By the time we finish dealing with the animals in the zoo, there'll be none left to tell the story."

9. "We are assembling weapons and we need some more money to thoroughly equip our military to enable us unleash mayhem on Nigeria."

10. "Niger Deltans are cowards; we know what to do to them. Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Edo and Cross Rivers State are our territory and anybody who tries to oppose us will be crushed."

11. "Buhari married his wife after raping her several times, the records are there."

12. "No Ibo man should attend any Church where the pastor is a Yoruba man, they are criminals and fools."

This statement is factual and has nothing to do with hate speech. The wicked, corrupt and deceptive zoo trembles whenever MNK exposes their evil.

MNK has every right to issue this command. He did not destroy the zoo's transmitter. Why would the zoo be searching for transmitter belonging to Biafra to destroy it. Una chop craze?

This is a statement of fact. If anyone disputes it he can go to court. He said what Buhari did. That cannot be a hate speech.

4. "Buhari is a Terrorist he should be killed."
"Buhari is a Terrorist" is a statement of fact. "He should be killed" is your own spin to the statement.

5. "Nigeria is a zoo and everybody living in that
Godforsaken zoo deserves to die."
"Nigeria is a zoo" and there is nothing that proofs to the contrary to the statement. As such, it is a true statement to the point that Google has recognised that indeed a zoo is even better than Nigeria. "and everybody living in that
Godforsaken zoo deserves to die." is what the OP, his father or those that sent him said, not what MNK said. MNK repeats whatever he has said e.g. he keeps saying that Nigeria is a zoo.

6. "Kumuyi should be stoned and dealt with thoroughly if he comes to Aba for his planned crusade."
This is telling the so called G.O.s to stop deceiving Biafrans. They can continue to keep their people in darkness untill the 'Jan-ja-weed' overruns them. You go to do crusade and collect tithe and offering from them, when Covid-19 came what did you do for them? Biafra does not tolerate such level of stupidity. That can only happen in the zoo. Again this is not a hate speech but a warning to G.O.s

The pride, arrogance and delusions of grandeur afflicting Mr. Kanu, will ultimately bring about his violent departure from the mortal realm.

Here is a man who has never experienced any form of military training in his entire life, yet feels compelled to have tailors sew up a fake military uniform, complete with row upon row of epaulets that normally denote bravery at the war front, when in fact the only war ever experienced by fantasist Mr. Kanu, is the war to regain what precious little remains of his tenuous sanity.

Furthermore, I challenge any reader of these words, to name ANY Nigerian public figure, present or past, who so clearly enjoys having his followers lick and slobber on his shoes like little puppy dogs begging for scraps of food, as shown in this hysterically entertaining picture of Emperor Kanu, having his shoes serviced by the tongues of his equally confused cult followers.

You are talking about Nnamdi Kanu's hate speech? Is there any amount of words, whether hate speech or love speech, that can kill a person?

Other groups are out there killing Nigerians daily and this one is busy posting the words of Kanu and calling it hate speech. If Fulani herdsmen slaughter 50 people tomorrow, he will not come here to talk about that violent action. But if Nnamdi Kanu opens his mouth, this one will run to post it.

Boko Haram, Niger Delta militant cultists, killer herdsmen and other bandits out there are armed and killing people daily. But his head ache is Nnamdi Kanu's words.

So go right ahead on talking shit, Armchair Field Marshall "Hollywood" Kanu, but rest assured that any killings or assassination attempts that are ultimately attributed to your widely published incendiary words of violent incitement, will most certainly result in your prosecution, fair trial and slam-dunk into prison, in the fullness of time.

Keep dressing up like your favorite superhero, and keep calling your countrymen to arms in shrill tones, while hunkering down in what you THINK might be safe vantage from which to foment social disorder and avoidable death, with impunity.
