This is a common trend with most websites of government agencies. Whenever there is change of leadership of an agency, flurry of activities happen including updating websites. Gradually, as the dust settle, every member of Staff shift focus to 'juicy' responsibilities and neglect the websites. Of course, there is no money to be spent on website updating which one can 'load up' or 'squeeze' for side money: Typical Nigerian worker mentality.

Therefore, unless and until daily updating of official websites becomes somebody's primary duty as it is in developed economy, information on these website will lag and nobody will be held responsible. Not good enough!

By the way, the currency or otherwise of information on a website says much about that organization. Since websites are viewed all over the world in real time, it is the first way anybody in any part of the world can interface and rate an organization.

We need to change our mentality and do a lot better.
