1) Many people from the North criticize this Buhari administration e.g Buba Galadima, Senator Sheu Sani etc

Northerners aren't many like the Southerners on social media.

However, for certain reasons , Northerners don't criticize their leaders like Southerners do.

2) When people come online to criticize Buhari and use the opportunity to abuse, insult and curse Northerners/Fulanis, you are indirectly telling Northerners/Fulani to unite and defend one of their own and return hatred for you.

They will not join you in such criticisms, no matter the wrongs that he has done.

3) When tribal bigots come online to spend all their time and energy telling whoever cares to listen how evil a particular Geopolitical zone is, what do you think people from that zone will do?

4) When you constantly call people backstabbers, betrayers and greedy people (which has become intensified since 2015), do you expect them to return the gestures by supporting your views and working to see you rewarded with power to preside over their lives?

5) Who appointed you a judge to determine the morality of the Interests of the S/West in politics, especially the 2023 election?

You are in politics to protect your own interests and I am in politics to protect my own interests too.

I agree politics is about interest. But some people interest might be selfish and not moral. I still maintain that northerners don't critize this Buhari government and it seems it's either their religion or culture that advices them not to do so. From observation in politics all over the world. Government lies a lot and use propaganda to deceive the citizens, its now left for the citizens to take a stand and reject incompetence, but in Nigeria we play tribal and religious politics and we call it politics of interest. In a country were there is no equity and justice. A leader is being tribal bigot, but his people cannot advise him to calm down and learn to accommodate people from other regions. A leader that is sectional, is that one a leader? A situation one will be forming James Bond with our collective resources like its he's own personal wealth. Imagine someone that comes from a region that does not contribute mega share in the income of the country but rather using another man's wealth to play nepotism and bigotry. Development should be spread around, same thing it's happening in various states too where a particular region didn't vote the governor and the governor deprive such region from development. Is that a good way of governance? Most Nigerians are just too wicked and vengeful in their attitude. Just like the various vengeful monikers who open up senseless topics on nairaland daily just to spite south east, just imagine if such evil people get hold of power, with their messed up mind. They will be very sectional and bigoted in their style of governance. If all government are critized properly and everyone feels belong, there won't be any need for zoning. It's just that we are not yet matured in governance that is why zoning is done just to spread development which to me it shouldn't be. The interest of south west in 2023 has no moral ground. But in politics anything goes. That's why a thug can be elected into government positions in Nigeria, because of politics of interest from a group of people.
GEJ was a true leader who valued all Nigerians irrespective of were they come from, though he didn't perform to expectations.

1) People from ALL States in Nigeria criticize and complain about ANY Government in power , including this incumbent Buhari Administration.
You need to check more with an unbiased mind on all social media

2) You wrongly assume that the reasons why people vote for this Government is because they want to spite you.

Well, may be people at the same level of reasoning with you actually did because of that .

However, most people did because of their own more serious interests e g construction of Lagos-Ibadan ,Oshodi-Apapa and Oyo-Ogbomosho road express roads, the construction of Lagos-Ibadan-Oshogbo-Ilorin Railways, having good representation in Government etc

Politics is about interests.

Yes, this is one of the reasons why this country is not progressing. Its either some supposed reasonable/educated folks that ought to enlighten others are paid goons or just myopic.

(1) Yes, its our responsibility to criticize, assess, suggest/ recommend to any government in power. Do you know why? They are called to service. They are supposed to be stewards of our collective resources and give judicious account (accountable) to the nation as a whole. They are meant to allocate our collective resources with equity and fairness. Their kids and wards are not meant to flaunt ill-gotten wealth online. They ought to live an exemplary life ( be a good role model) and be above board in all their dealings. They are required to set the tone at the top while others ( citizen) follows. They are not expected to circumvent the process or have a double standard. They are not expected to spend 40 million naira (taxpayers fund) on feeding their members during the fasting period ( as in the case of LAHA Speaker). In a nutshell, our supposed leaders should be open to correction, criticisms, suggestions, and civil disobedience where necessary.

(2) Secondly, that's a wrong assumption. Regardless of the reason why you voted for any government, its the responsibility of the government to unite the country and allocate the resources fairly. Do you expect the South-South folks to keep quiet while their land and resources are depleted at their detriment and instead used to develop another region of the country? Let's be objective and reasonable for God sake. A good government will appropriate resources based on diverse factors best known to them and periodically give updates to the subjects. Good for you that you voted all because of Lagos -Ibadan expressway which has been appropriated for, multiple times within the last 20 years. Good for you that you voted for this government all because of the Rail system which has been overbloated in terms of cost.

If you are privileged to be a recipient or beneficiary of this government, that does not mean everybody is. And to tell you the truth, power is transient and another bloc might surface in 3 years. Why is it difficult for us to get basic things right? All we should advocate for is a functioning system that will outlive these crooks.

Haha, the last time I checked, checks and balances are enshrined in our constitution. Where are the checks? We cant even use our vote without being subjected to harassment. For the records, I am not a disgruntled individual even though Nigeria has failed me and millions of others. All we are requesting is a country where we can be proud of. A country where youths won't be beggars. A country where our right is respected as a citizen.

Ya; politics is all about interests..
But..
Our interests seem to be conflicting; this makes those clamouring for continuation of One-Nigeria, lovers of conflict.

Ironically, these same people who seem to relish conflict, for reasons best known to them, keep mouthing about Nigeria and (false hope of) development in one sentence.

Bunch of hypocrites!

Gov El-Rufai’s son , Bello mocks IPOBians as he post his Arewa twitter photo while flying a private jet
https://www.theonlineparrots.com/2020/05/videophotos-gov-el-rufais-son-bello.html

Yesterday was Eid-el-Fitr , and the Northern rich kids has taken it upon themselves to display their wealth , some post photos of their Luxury cars and other post photos while on private jets,
These photos has caused a lot of troubles on twitter between the Northern and southern Nigerians, but however , Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s son , Bello , posted his own photo while mocking the IPOBians.

Sincere apologies. We had to land close to Oloibiri Oilfield. We suspect IPOBians tried to bring our plane down. But God protected us as he always does. Despite this setback , we will still deliver the Arewa Rolls Royce. We simply had to switch to a smaller plane. We move!

And he continued ;

So yes have it. We are taking a plane to deliver the Arewa Rolls Royce at the secure vault of the NDDC. Thank you General Wike . I would like to express my appreciation to the owners of the oil for this private trip. Cheer up everyone , the Arewa Rolls Royce is coming home!

I agree politics is all about interest. The reason why most countries go to war is because one section tends to oppress the other. Imagine in this country a fellow citizen who preaches one Nigeria will have the gut to say a particular region will never be president. It shows you how certain people can be wicked and such people should be avoided. During GEJ tensure northern guys were very vocal on social media insulting him and he's wife always. But during Buhari tenure they have all lost their voice. Northerners practice very vindictive pattern of government. That's why all the anti social bills are being sponsored by northerners. Tribalism, nepotism and religious fanaticism won't take us anywhere. For your information Igbos don't hate the northerners, its only Buhari that they don't like because of he's attitude. Its just like saying Igbos should vote someone like Omenka, Arrewa, Helius, Minority opinion and the rest of those monikers who are vengeful as president. Knowing fully well their body language hates south eastern region. As regards south west, if you are sincere with yourself you should know they aren't the ones to take up such position now, especially with this our infant democracy and learning stage. When Nigeria is fully matured and a large percentage of the population are literate, then one shouldn't care about were an aspirant comes from. Africans generally are too self centred and play winner takes it all politics.
