It means members of the State house of Assembly and also the Judiciary (court) will no longer be puppet to the Governor. They now have more powers as they'll not need to beg the governor to get their money.

I am sure because I know my Governor very well.

As much as we are all for autonomous arms of government, it cannot come by the FG signing orders mandating State Governors.

That's against the spirit of Federalism in the first place.

Truth is, this order can be successfully challenged in court.

Apart from that, the order can be rescinded any day, any time by any President or even Acting President. It is not an Act of the National Assembly.

There really is no alternative to restructuring, anyway one would like to look at these issues...

At last the state judiciary will final get their freedom, likewise state assemblies.
