Nigeria Army has been largely 'arewalised' such that Hausa language is freely spoken among its personnel as if it is the official language of the organization. Our military will continue to struggle against a ragtag setup like boko haram as long as the issue of lopsided recruitments and enlistments is not addressed.

You can't have an army that looks like a military wing of a single ethnic group in a country like Nigeria and expect optimum performance from it. Our military is heavily dominated by ethnic Hausa/Fulani and that is dangerous for us as a nation. This undue advantage is what makes the fulani folks to think that they own Nigeria. There must be a balance of representation in the military such that each ethnic group will feel secure and have sense of belonging.

Our Army appears weak because it is dominated too much by Hausa/ fulani folks

I saw the video in question of Nigerian soldiers looking, standing around and videotaping their injured, bleeding an decapitated comrade instead of helping him by rendering basic first aid like applying pressure or using improvised tourniquet or even tie common belt around the wound to stop the bleeding and eventually save his life, but their first instinct wasn't to save the life of their soldier brother, they were more concerned about taking video to post on social media to embarrass and ridicule their own country.

The soldiers involved should be wearing the Nigerian army uniform, they are better off furthering their social media concerns as bloggers instead of the Nigerian military.

All armies do psyops (psychological operations), if you lose 10, you tell the world only two personnel are injured so that the enemy won't have morale to carry out more. But I'll love the Nigerian military to call the families of deceased personnel quietly honor them just like US army does than allowing them take their destinies into their own hands as a result of lost of loved one which affects the morale & level of patriots amongst the living.
Documentaries are the countries/victors prospective or account of events e.g the Nigerian Civil war from the Nationalist differ from the Biafran's perspective.
But illiteracy will not allow Nigerian soldiers to think therefore the military higher command should hold guarantors liable for standing for such personnel.

You are speaking from your own understanding, it's never your fault. Learn to ask questions especially to troops at the theater, many reasons and conditions warrant their phone usage, unless you tackle their reasons ,you don't have any reason to stop them from using mobile phones at war front. Why you stay at home or office typing..

The fact is, BH do take pictures and record video to post on social media when they attack and kill Nigerian soldiers to recruit more terrorists and for propaganda, but sad, our own soldiers also take pictures and record videos to post on social media to do propaganda on behalf of BH terrorists and demoralize out troops and Nigerians or to show that we are losing the war.
