BOLARINWA: KWARA APC AND THEIR PSYCHOLOGY OF REVOLUTION

Hon. Bolarinwa spoke like one with the wisdom of intimate knowledge or understanding of the political machination of Kwara on Sobi FM. In the process, he unconsciously revealed that politics is the same everywhere, as is the quest for power, the only thing that changes in politics is the name of those who wield the sceptre or the sword. This is evident in his acknowledgment of the efforts of past administration(s) in Kwara.

You know as humans we are very intelligent, it is our intelligence that allowed us to domesticate some animals with the reason that we are protecting them from wild animals. We went into the forests, brought cows, goats, camels, chickens among others, domesticated them. We rear them, give them vaccination against diseases, allow them to reproduce and grow, then what happens next?

We take them to abattoir under very sharp and shining knives. We slay them, consume them and use them for other consumable items. Does that mean a goat or pig moaning or dying under a sharp knife is more comfortable than in the mouth of a lion? The bottom line is death, regardless of the process or circumstance. Certainly, our reason or motivation wasn't really to protect them against wild animals but to satisfy our needs.

Such is the psychology of APC's revolution in Kwara State. Their individuals' variation of characters in the time of the said revolution was not known to them. It was hardly codified in any precise language. Hon. Bolarinwa must have come across the word of Napoleon Bonaparte where he said *"in time of revolution, one can only say what he has done, it would not be wise to say one could have done otherwise"*. It must be the reason why he and many others like him within the party are swallowing the disturbances and discomfort.

The interview exposed that majority of them with equal means didn't *tune in before they turned on* in the 2019 elections. *The problem with AA isn't about keeping people but being eclectic about agreement*.

Just like Poetus (AA) and Corbulo (Bolarinwa), two great Roman Generals. They had mutual suspicion for each other but served under the same Emperor (APC/Buhari). While Corbulo and his soldiers led and fought battles for Rome in tougher dispensation (under stiff opposition), the most arduous battle was led by Poetus (AA) against Armenia (PDP) because he had the Emperor's ear. Corbulo and his soldiers had previously engaged the Armenians in battle but was unsuccessful.

In 2019, Poetus with the support of Corbulo and his soldiers devised means to make them surrender, Noreno (Esinrogunjo) was the interlocutor delivering messages through the rough and tough routes the Armenians were unfamiliar with (propaganda). They engaged the Armenians in battle and catapulted the head of the Armenians most respected generals into their camp and finally broke their spirit. Though, the symbol of the battle may be incognito and probably not endowed with requisite native intelligence, yet winning the battle was a fait accomplice political process since having the Emperor's ear was sufficient. Such was the not unexpected victory of the strange bedfellows at the 2019 elections.

Remember Poetus was never comfortable with Corbulo and his soldiers. He wasn't still comfortable even in victory, Poetus tricked and confined Corbulo and his soldiers in Syria (Party) upon assuming office and taking over Armenians territory. Syria is also a territory under the Emperor.

Noreno, ended as an interlocutor on radio (his familiar route) and was no longer needed, he made a terrible mistake and all the dangers he risked were forgotten. He was vilified, demonised, nullified and constructively dismissed. He was banned by DSS not to be seen anywhere near Poetus. Who is to blame really?

Will the Corbulo(s) in APC aid or support Poetus in subsequent battles?

Will the Noreno(s) still deliver spurious and consequential messages?

2023 shall tell!
