The Niger Delta Amnesty Programme, The Success So Far by NDAmnesty: 3:08pm On Jan 19, 2011
Its over a year and half now that the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme started, June 25th 2009, the late President Umar Musa Yar'dua declared a 60day disarmament programme which led to acceptance of the granted Amnesty programme.
More than 1 year has passed now, 13,017 transformed ex-militants have gone through the Nonviolence training and have started proceeding to various vocational and educational centres. there is peace in the region and our oil production per day has risen, given rise to our revenue.
we are urging you fellow Nigerian to contribute your opinions and support the Amnesty programme.
