Hello my fellow Nairalanders I just noticed these sudden changes about my phone. I noticed that anytime I charge the phone, it won't move from that particular percent unless am using it.

For example I plugged my phone at 38%. And I came back to check it after 1hr, but it still in that particular percent. But I noticed it seems to charge faster when am charging and using it. Though it not a new phone but I can say it up to 6 month now.

Please what can I do to improve the charging rate. Please help a broke soul..

You didn't even tell us the phone in question

That's weird. Most people actually experience/have experienced the opposite where it only charges fast when you're not using it.

The only thing I can think of is probably there's something broken in the cable and when you hold it, it's in a better position for the current to flow. I'm most likely wrong

So let the phone tech gurus in the house advice.
