True Words Of Osinbajo About The Youths Of South East. by Deputy1111(m): 7:06am On May 29, 2020
1. We have listened to the voices of some of our young people in the Southeast expressing their discontent, however, we do not hear a battle cry, but rather a cry for help. We are determined to continue providing them with the tools and resources that will enable them to make the most of their lives.

2. Our young people are full of zest, ideas and creative energy and sometimes they get understandably frustrated with the inability of our institutions to keep pace with their vision and dynamism. But we must not let agents of discord weaponize this frustration and turn it into a severe rupture within the country. The opportunities that you need for growth and prosperity are all here in Nigeria and we are working every day both at the national and sub-national level and local government level to increase these opportunities.

3. Within years of the end of the conflict, the Igbos re-established themselves as the foremost entrepreneurs in our country and are now thriving everywhere across the vast expanse of our land.

4. The Southeast is Nigeria’s natural industrial hub. Slowly and steadily, an industrial revolution is gathering momentum here in Abia and in the Southeast as a whole. From leatherworks and textiles to engineering, the “Made-in-Aba” label is emerging as an international brand.

5. This zone is already a regional manufacturing hub servicing West and Central Africa. Goods from here are heading to Cameroon, Ghana, Togo, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic and other African countries.

6. The Igbo apprenticeship system has been cited as the biggest business incubator in the world and the Southeast is the birthplace of Nollywood; our film industry which has achieved global renown on the strength of the creativity and imagination of young Nigerians.

These quotes of the Vice President are curbed from his speech at the Townhall Meeting Commemorating 50 Years After The End Of Nigerian Civil War. Event held on the 27th of January, 2020.

A nation that places its destiny in the hands of less educated and less knowledgeable individuals because of the desire to promote loyalty to certain political personalities rather than loyalty to the country itself is several million kilometers away from achieving greatness

God Bless Prof. Osibanjo. I pray that the leadership mantle of Nigeria will not elude you.
It is left for you not to disappoint man and God when you get there.

You don't love Osinbajo more than majority of Igbos.

Instead it is people like you from the west that is propagating this "they hate us" mantra.

Igbos are Progressives, we have voted other tribes in the past.

The stumbling block to Osibanjo wide acceptance will be his people.

Your political arrogance since 2015 has reached roof top. That is what need to be fixed!

Peace.

Oga abeg leave that friends matter. We and Yorubas can work on share interests but not friendship

A people whom their Obas went round the cities of Northern Nigeria to thank the Emirs for sparing the Yorubas and selectively killing more than 30,000 Igbos civilians cannot be our friends. Bodies of Igbo men, women and children littered the streets of Northern Nigeria and custodians of your tradition did not feel repulsion.

I don't want to talk about Awolowo's policy that killed 2 million children in Igbo land. Friendship is built on trust.

Like I said we can worked on shared interest but you see friendship, FORGET IT!!!!!!

Yorubas will never align with Igbos. Never ever.

Nnamdi Azikiwe with hid hard earned PhD accepted to be ceremonial President to half educated Tafawa Balewa and they both jailed Awolowo.

Alex Ekwueme with his PhD accepted to be VP to Sheu Shagari a Primary School teacher

Sylvester Ugor the Biafran Central Bank governor from 1967 to 1970 accepted to be VP to a junior banker Bashir Tofa in 1993

Peter Obituary a seasoned banker with several degrees from the best universities in the world accepted to be VP to semi literate Atikuchukwu whose highest educational qualification is ABU Diploma.

You people have been slaves to Hausa/Fulanis for long.

You have said it all.

Their political arrogance needs to be fixed.
They are the greatest stumbling block to osinbajo southern acceptance.

Osinbajo will not get southern votes in 2023 for political reasons, that doesn't mean he won't get it next time.

Your 5%. votes is insignificant. We proved that in 2015 and reconfirmed it in 2019. Once beaten, twice shy they say, but what do we say about twice beaten? grin grin grin grin Come 2023, we will teach you POL 301: Advanced Political Strategy and Alignment in MultiCultural Society.

Lol.

5% is also talking.

Na wa for this country o.

The only people with political arrogance is you.

You voted for Atiku, a Fulani because he picked Obi as his running mate, yet you criticise the Yorubas for voting Buhari, another Fulani because he picked Yemi

See your life outside?

So, who is the arrogant one here
