Snakes are the least favorite reptiles of many people especially in this part of the world. Little wonder a Nigerian man could not contain his gratitude after he caught a venomous snake that slithered into his house.
The Bayelsa resident identified as Engbi Ebideri shared the news of how God rescued him and his family from what could have been a life threatening event, with members of the online community.
Ebideri disclosed that a snake found its way into his home but he was able to end the life of the dangerous reptile before it could harm any member of his household.
“My God is bigger than everything. Poisonous snake ran into my house. To God be the glory no body was attacked before we finally killed it.” he said.
He accompanied his post with photos of the lifeless reptile which was sprawled on a tiled floor. Another photo showed the carcass sealed up in a transparent bottle.
Some of his Facebook friends were spotted in the comment section rejoicing with him on his safety.
He further revealed in his comment section that it took him about 30 minutes to kill the snake
