EkwulobiaTV:
HAPPENING NOW

Abandoned New born baby found alive wrapped in a dirty sack in Umunkwo, Ula-Ekwulobia.

Early today morning, the family of Mr. Simeon Okeke of Umunkwo Ula-Ekwulobia discovered a crying baby wrapped in a sack at their backyard.

They swiftly reached the Ichie of the village, Ichie Ohazume II and the village Chairman, Hon. Chinedu Okpala who responded accordingly and have been doing all things possible for the best of the found baby.

The baby who might have there for over 20 hours, survived the downpour from last night, is hale and hearty and has been taken to the Health Centre for further examination.

The Traditional Ruler of Ekwulobia, HRM Igwe Engr. Emmanuel Onyeneke, has visited the Ward II Health Centre in Umunkwo, Ula-Ekwulobia to see the miracle baby.

The nurse present confirmed that the baby is being taken care of and all necessary efforts are being put into his wellbeing.

Coincidentally, the woman whose household found this baby is the Leader of the Catholic Women Organization, Immaculate Heart Parish, Ula, Mrs. Okeke Ndikenwu. She poured out her heart to the King, who supported her with some money, as she swore to take care of this baby as her own.
