CKC ONITSHA, CIC ENUGU, DENNIS MEMORIAL ONITSHA, STELLA MARIS PH, HOLY GHOST COLLEGE OWERRI, BISHOP SHANAHAN COLLEGE ORLU, GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, UMUAHIA, HOPE WADDEL CALABAR, the colleges of the 1940s that rule the east till today.

CKC and DMGS are two very best in the east. They rank alongside kings king's college Lagos and Hopewadell in Calabar. CIC is not in their league.

That's my alma mata. OP you forgot to mention that the school won the world secondary school football competition held in Dublin in 1977.
The school has produced so many int'l figures like Philip Emeagwari, cardinal Francis Arinze to mention but a few. Currently it's rated the best secondary school in Nigeria and 34th in Africa.
