I met him (MAJEK FASHEK) at the freedom park 2015 when ADE BANKU invited him to perform on stage( Afropolitan Vibes). When he started singing holy spirit, the atmosphere changed not knowing that rain will fall, has he started to sing send down the rain, lo n behold rain starts falling. RIP

This guy was a huge talent, aside Fella and Femi, I personally don't know any other Nigerian artists till the 90s had more international stage shows and with big international artists.
He wasn't just an artist but a full musician, played instruments, wrote and arranged songs, danced etc. Not computer aided stuff artists do today.
But from Igbo to hard drugs in America, he was ruined.
R.I.P pure Legend.

So sad! R.I.P to a legend. He was one of the few Nigerians to gain global recognition in the early 90s. I remember his hit tracks from the album "prisoner of conscience". He was signed to sony music back then. Farewell MAJEK FASHEK, you have gone to the great beyond.
