You should also note that the Chinese bridge is far more complicated structurally than the Nigerian bridge.

Politicians steal at every opportunity in this country. I don't know why Nigeria isn't even making payments for infrastructure with crude oil.

Solid infrastructure is always an enabler for economic growth.

Countries with solid infrastructures tends to grow very fast unlike countries with decrepit infrastructures like ours.

This is a picture of the celebrated 3 gorge dam that was commissioned in 2009. Less than 10 years, the dam is already having serious structural defects.

The Chinese are no saints by a long shot. They oftentimes cut corners to get whatever they want. Ironically, the west do the same thing, as well. In fact the west are worse. They instituted slavery, and profited from it. Countries like the United States, United kingdom, France are have single handedly ruined nations. Do you know why Nigeria still can't refine its own crude oil? I bet you know of France's atrocities in Francophone countries. If you want to be critical of China, please, for fairness sake, try and be critical of the west, too. And use that same energy you're using to criticize China to criticize Nigeria, its leaders and politicians for their failures to develop Nigeria in spite of all the natural and human resources it has. How do some of you guys reason? In all honesty, do you truly believe the Chinese are responsible for the slow speed of project executions in Nigeria? Really? You're smarter than that. The Chinese are executing and completing numerous projects in record time in Rwanda, and other parts of the world. Why is the story oftentimes different in Nigeria? Corruption. It is unbelievably ludicrous you're blaming the Chinese for our country's shamelessness.
