Google has published an official post announcing a new update of its algorithm based on the user experience. Sites will now also be evaluated based on how users can interact with their different web pages. Sites that do not offer a satisfactory user experience may find themselves less well positioned than before.

This update called "Google Page Experience" should take into account existing factors such as "mobile-friendly", the HTTPS criterion, secure browsing and the presence of intrusive ads but also be based on the Core Web Vitals criteria.

Core Web Vitals factors
For this "Google Page Experience" update, Google will take into account the 3 criteria of Core Web Vitals focused on the user experience:

Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): this is the page loading time so that the main content is visible to the user. This criterion indicates how quickly an individual can actually see the content of the page. To provide a favorable user experience, your LCP score must be less than 2.5 seconds.
