TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING HOW PROPHETIC WORD WORKS - PT 3

Gen 12:4 "So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran."

The second demand for speedy fulfilment of prophecies is obedience. obedience is our covenant access to the blessing of God. We found out from scriptures that Abraham, who is the symbol of blessing, operated under the frequency of obedience. His obedience of faith is what empowered him into the realms of strange blessings.

Obedience is our access to His blessings. The Bible says: "By strength shall no man prevail" (1Sam 2:9). To enjoy speedy fulfilment of prophecies, beloved, labour to be obedient. Every individual today that is enjoying God's blessings, buries him/herself in obedience. You can only maximize the benefits of a prophetic word by obedience.

Show me a man with a undeniable blessing of God upon his life and I will show you a man that has applied himself in obedience to specific instructions passed down to him by God. Every act of obedience is a load of blessings in disguise.

In Gen 22, Abraham was told to sacrifice Isaac his long awaited promise from God. He did not complain, but obeyed promptly and with his obedience came a sworn verdict of generational blessings. In today's text, which is our anchor scripture for the month, the Bible says "So Abraham departed." (Gen 12:4). Every prophetic word works via obedience to instructions. Which instruction are you ready to obey today?

PRAYER: Receive grace for delightsome obedience, in Jesus name.
