No credible information regarding the declaration of UNO state of Cameroon as an independent country by UN or any reputable organization...

UN carving out some part of Adamawa state to be part of UNO, abeg with or without Nigeria government consent?

Anyone with credible facts related to this?

Atiku who was born a Cameroonian and became a Nigerian when his village became part of Nigeria, now has the opportunity to become a President of a country in his lifetime of political prostitution.

Jada, where Atiku hails from is one of many areas of Adamawa that will be lost to the new created country if the tales are true.

Imagine if Atiku had won in 2019, despite our many pointing out that he wasn't Nigerian enough?

We would have had a Cameroonian born whose village is soon to be removed from Nigeria, ruling Nigerians till 2023.

Nigeria overplayed their hand, punishing the eastern region because of Biafran war was overplayed, many years later they are still marginalising the whole SS and SE.

They have lost the sympathy of most people sitting on the fence. Biafra is now very popular.

This event will fundamentally change everything about Nigeria. Igbos get ready...

Nigeria has two choices now.

1) Meet the age long demands of Ndigbo for a restructured Nigeria with resource control, equity and fairness.

2) Remain shortsighted and stubborn which will accelerate the rise of Biafra

Which one will Nigeria pick? (I think I already know the answer)

With consent under international laws (UN)

Nigeria may refuse to cede it's territory tho and that means international arbitration will come in to avoid the use of force on either sides

And the 2nd choice will lead to a Biafra that is padlocked inside of Nigeria.

You will end up having your tribal space that you have always had, but without rights within Nigeria that you currently have to make a living and send money back home to develop a Biafra that needs Nigerian commerce to thrive.

I see many Igbos currently earning their living outside Igboland withing Nigeria, quickly applying for a renewed Nigerian citizenship, while those trapped inside Biafra will daily throng embassies including Nigeria's, looking for an escape visa.

For those who cannot escape, Nnamdi Kanu will send them whatever he can from his base in UK, ensuring to hold on to his British citizenship.

A valid consequence of wrongful President of Nigeria is off topic, but IPOBians discussing a possible Biafran consequence are not off topic?

If the news is true and comes into effect, it would only reset Nigeria's map to the reality that existed before the 1960 Plebescite that made Atiku a Nigerian, and made the English speaking Southern Cameroon exit Nigeria for a French Cameroon they have never had peace with.

While I can understand that Southern Cameroon has been agitating for sovereignty, I do not see how the new development concerns the parts of Nigeria in Adamawa or Borno being mentioned.

The Southern Cameroon matter has no relationship with Nigeria, so I do not even believe the news as being reported.
