This is encouraging.Lagos at 66 cases is the lowest I've seen since the spike and I hope it continues to decrease. But where did that 17 cases from Anambra come from
If you tell me one test location in Lagos where you can go to and get tested ,i will believe you.Not on paper but you physically went there(these guys are up to something).

I have severally here on Nairaland adviced the FG on possible ways to combat this deadly virus.

Only a total lockdown for at least Two months will stop the daily increase of cases.

Nigerians must learn to bear pains the total lockdown will cause them.

Cases kept increasing day by day. We cannot fold our arms and allow this virus to consume us.

The FG should as a matter of urgency lockdown all states for at least two months.

The military and police should be deployed to enforce the total lockdown.

Everybody must remain inside there homes.

A 5days notice should be given for citizens to stock food items in there homes

As the FG does this, I assure all Nigerians that we will overcome.
You're spot on bro. Just that two months may be too much. The mistake the govt made before was locking down just two states and fct.; it can never yeild any meaningful result considering our "normadic" nature as a country.... not even after the virus had spread to other states. The govt end up reacting/fighting the virus with kids glove.

I personally I'm getting tired of warning people of the dangers ahead and advising the govt.

Total lockdown for two months?? What an insane suggestion! Italy still has cases despite more than 3 months lockdown..what about wuhan? You think this government can contain what will fallout if they dare go that route? A country like usa with far more recorded cases were on lockdown for two months and yet the cases kept going up...newsflash! Everyone in the USA is protesting on the streets, people are looting and killing...anarchy is what you will get when you try to bottle people up like animals in a cage for that long.

good suggestion but not sustainable anywhere in the world, the consequences of prolonged lockdown only leads to frustration and anger, see what is happening in USA now, protests for 13days now...people have lost jobs ,loved ones, some are hungry. here we are having increased rape cases that seem so meaningless.
