A 28-year-old man identified as Patrick Onoja Igah, has been arrested by the Benue State Police Command for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl. The suspect was learnt to have committed the crime in the 7th Wonder church premises in Owukpa area of Benue state.

While confirming the incident, Benue State Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Anene Sewuese Catherine, said that the suspect lured the victim into the church premises before he raped her. The victim had gone to buy something around the vicinity before she was lured into the church by Mr. Patrick.

However, the little girl has since been receiving proper medical attention after being rushed to the hospital.
