In other to escape from being raped by a 25-year-old identified as Lucky, a 19-year-old girl identified as Jane Lumande, jumped from the second floor of a residential building in Lusaka and broke her legs and an arm in Zambia.

The victim was said to have jumped from the building when the man who is a former minister, Lucky Mulusa’s son, attempted to rape her.

Lucky declined to discuss the incident, saying it is a family matter. One of the eyewitnesses, Davis Nkumba, a gardener at the flats, said Jane had gone to see Lucky’s mother that day.
