Kaduna state House of Assembly ended its session in a rowdy format on Thursday. This was after the composed 24 members of the session carried out the voting that led to the impeachment of its deputy speaker, Mukhtar Hazo.

Hazo was impeached on the ground of incompetence in the discharge of his duties and was replaced by Hon. Isaac Auta representing Kaura constituency.

After Hazo’s impeachment was carried out, Hon. Liman Dahiru representing Makera constituency seized the Maze and attempted to make a break for the door. He was quickly held back by the sergeant in arms of the house who wrestled with him, before the intervention of other members of the House.

Hon. Dahiru was dragged outside the house after the maze was collected from him. His clothes however, was torn as a result of the struggle.
