Well I'm not surprised they're already doing an about-face on this matter, given the alarming escalation in positive results in the past few days. It just goes to show that the chickens of poor management of the crisis, coupled with our rank mediocre healthcare system & other long-running systemic failures in this our dysfunctional country, are finally coming home to roost. We're talking about reopening airports for domestic operations when interstate travel by road is still prohibited (and we're having a hard time enforcing it)?! As for international travel, I have only two words to say about that: FORGET IT! angry angry angry Tell me, what foreign airline will agree to resume flight operations into this country when they see & analyze the figures coming out from the NCDC ? More than 10% of the total positive tests since March have occurred in the last four days - FOUR DAYS! And we seem to be just hoping that the disease will just go away like a bout of malaria, or waiting for a more proactive country to come up with a vaccine {sorry, the Madagascar 'cure' doesn't count). Whatever the case, we'd better start doing the thing we do most: PRAY!!

Copy - copy government

They borrow more but accomplish little...this is clear evidence of irresponsibility, incompetency, and bad governance....anyone who is still expecting a good thing from the Nazareth of this government is wasting his Time

What have the airlines done to support government's efforts on covid 19. Brands like FCMB that are partnering with NCDC get two heads?
They should stay grounded biko

How many of you paying tax?
How many Nigerians are taxable.
During the years of excess oil earnings, your govt looted all the wealth, that was supposed to be used to put down the adequate infrastructure required to create wealthy citizens.
Now what we have is the poverty capital of the planet and you will come and talk about tax.
Anyone,no one is asking for palliatives, let them lift all restrictions so people will get back to their lives.
When has Nigerians ever depended on the govt for anything.

COVID-19 in Racial and Ethnic Minority Groups

The effects of COVID-19 on the health of racial and ethnic minority groups is still emerging; however, current data suggest a disproportionate burden of illness and death among racial and ethnic minority groups. A recent CDC MMWR report included race and ethnicity data from 580 patients hospitalized with lab-confirmed COVID-19 found that 45% of individuals for whom race or ethnicity data was available were white, compared to 59% of individuals in the surrounding community. However, 33% of hospitalized patients were black, compared to 18% in the community, and 8% were Hispanic, compared to 14% in the community. These data suggest an overrepresentation of blacks among hospitalized patients. Among COVID-19 deaths for which race and ethnicity data were available, New York Citypdf iconexternal icon identified death rates among black/African American persons (92.3 deaths per 100,000 population) and Hispanic/Latino persons (74.3) that were substantially higher than that of white (45.2) or Asian (34.5) persons. Studies are underway to confirm these data and understand and potentially reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the health of racial and ethnic minorities.

Good. But please let us focus on Nigeria.

Was it the airlines that closed the airports of the FG? The airlines have lost so much and are waiting to start off. Why this unnecessary lie after what they clearly told all Nigerians?

GenBuhari:
They told us in a briefing of a week or two ago, that flights could be reopening anytime from 21st of June which is deliberate play on words knowing that they had still kept resumption date open.
The same misinformation tactics they use for dates of School resumption and lifting travel ban.

My people, our president, most of his ministers or any member of the first family haven't been seen in person, or live for over 3months now.

Our so called Presidential Task Force on Covid19; PTF, have assumed the powers of the president in announcing adjustments to measures taken to lock us down and restrict our rights to travel, worship and education.

Brothers and Sisters, please pay attention: Nigeria's government has probably been taken over covertly and is being run by directly white racist globalist, New World Order government for black nations, using their W.H.O. agents who are embedded in and are running our PTF.

There is no such thing as Coronavirus it is a worldwide hoax or psychological terrorism that these white racist globalists will us as a cover to depopulate black people of the world.

The plan is to start poisoning us enmasse and blame the deaths on the hoax virus.
These people have planned our depopulation, do you think they care about restoring your rights?
Please let's borrow sense and stop waiting for these evil people and start doing whatever we see fit for us and our families.
Please make a survival plan and stay alert.
