When shortly before the 2019 general election Buhari in a bid to win South West declared June 12 democracy day in honour of MKO Abiola who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the democracy we have today, we saw beyond the mere declaration and told our people in the South West who were targets of this political manipulation that Buhari who featured prominently in Abacha's government just like a leopard won't change it's spot. They fell for his bait. Today June 12 has come and gone. Buhari has now shown everyone what he meant by June12. It is a day for self praise and nothing more. In the entire speech not even a word linking Chief MKO Abiola to today's holiday was mentioned, yet he told Nigerians last year that he was Honouring Abiola. I hope that South West is fast learning politics.

noticed that phcn restored a "strange power" early this morning after 2 months, mayb its because of the speech or just coincidence, but my next door neighbor dts a strong A.P.C family was watching and clapping for the speech while me i was jus managing my old ps2 wey dust don kill, but as soon as the man started talking to his wife abt the just finished speech, they took back the light and what broke my heart was when the man said "nepa try na, at least they respect the president and bring the light make we use watch him live broadcast, e no easy, abeg them try jhoor" and i was like WTF I JUS HEARD
