The World is gradually opening her economy beacause we have all realised that we have to live with this virus.

However, the virus does not care about our economies and is not relenting. 19 states in America that have opened up for business, have seen a rise in the rate of infections.

Nigeria is also gradully opening up for business and the number of cases is not slowing down.

Now, what smart countries are doing which surprisingly America has not done is to rely on Mobile apps with specific algorithms and human rules to help them fight the virus.

More and more countries are launching mobile apps to help them with:

1. Automatic Contact Tracing *(ability to trace people that come in contact with someone infected with Coronavirus)*,

2. Enforcing *Social distancing* by alerting people if they are too close to each other; example less than 1 meter apart.

3. Daily self-testing of their citizens on the mobile app.

Every day each citizen is expected to answer some questions on the app to determine their Covid-19 status.

This allows the system to assign a color-coded QR code to each citizen.

If your QR code color is green, it means you are Virus-free and you are free to go anywhere but if Amber or yellow, you must have come too close to someone that is now sick as determined by the system using Bluetooth Technology and you need to quarantine yourself and go for a test to protect other people even your family members.

If your QR Code is red then you are sick. Note, your color can only be red, after a proper test have been done to confirm your status at a test centre. After you recover from the disease, your color will be changed back to green.

*This means going forward no one should be allowed into a public place such as supermarket, theater, church, mosque, school, hospital, restaurant, bar, lounge, hotel, Eatery, Bus, etc. without showing the Color of their QR code. Only we the citizens can enforce this amongst ourselves.*

Also, from next week, all business or public places will have to also download their special QR code from our website and place same at their entrance so citizens can scan same before they are allowed to enter. That way, we can alert them automatically, if a sick person visits their premises and if they need to be decontaminated.

4. Automatic hourly reminders to wash your hands, wear your mask, not to touch your face etc.
