The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha has said sports in Nigeria will not return to normal anytime soon.

The PTF boss announced this during a press briefing on Thursday. He said the reasons are not far fetched as Sports, especially soccer attracts large crowds, and this is counter productive to the government’s Covid-19 agenda. And he cannot envision a soccer game with an empty stadium.

The Chairman said “We are not excited about allowing sports to return, we will get there, but for now, we are concerned with the few activities allowed to reopen.
