The infection rate is rising daily and Sunday service is today lipsrsealed Religious leaders are more interested in opening without thinking of what will happen if one or two people attend service.

If they are not individuals should think for themselves. People are just careless. No one is taking precautions. As for me and my family we will do our best to protect ourselves. People. Are still working from home. It is no joke oooo.

Like play this numbers is not going down. God have mercy on us in Nigeria, our economy wey dey struggle before make this Covid no come finish am.
If you go to some part of Lagos you won't believe there is any pandemic, people living normal lives no mask, no social distance, nothing at all.
When you move to the island you will be shocked becos people are wearing mask even in their cars alone inside AC. They are very careful and afraid.
I don't know why it's always one sided.
If u look at d rate of people infected and dying in America you will see dt its d black community yet na d blacks dey street dey protest inside corona.
I noticed that the rich are more enlightened and thus will do anything possible not to catch the virus, and they can also afford not to do some things that the poor have to do. Rich people can just send someone to the market to buy stuff and then make sure the person properly cleans up before gaining access back into the compound or coming in contact with others at home. If you're poor, you're definitely going to the market by yourself and you'll come back to your one room that you're Sharing with your 4 sisters and 5 brothers, nowhere to clean up before coming in contact with them again. Rich people drive in their cars, poor people have to use public transport, have to pass the same places that other poor people have to pass.

As for the protests in America, people are just fed up. It's necessary. There are some things people have to do regardless of risk to life in order to effect change. It's the same thing as revolutions, you know you might die, but you're willing to give up you're life to ensure things get better and the future generations do not have to go through the same pain. This level of protest is what we need in Nigeria, even greater. But unfortunately we Nigerians(me included) are too scared to lose the life that has mostly been made into something not even worth living by our fellow Nigerians/leaders.

It is so because majority of people believe there are far bigger problems and challenges than Coronavirus that they can merely use antimalarial to treat and get about walking cheesy
I can tell you right now Coronavirus is not even in the list of things that bother many, even if they know it is real. That is how far the situation has degenerated.
The economy is damned too bad and unpromising. Some are not bothered about schools even reopening, not because they don't care about education, but just because that will introduce another financial concern to their lengthy list of economic problems - how do we pay the school fees? And private schools are going to be merciless once the curtain is thrown open for schools to resume - school fees drive is going to be aggressively pursued in order for them to meet up with salary arrears for proprietors with conscience cheesy!

We keep on having inconsistent figures everyday, such that if statisticians are to plot the graph, it will be be a zig - zag scattered diagram.

Nigerians don't care anymore. Visit markets, banks, commercial buses, taxis and other public places in our cities, you will be in SHOCK.

NCDC also doing everything possible to achieve their predictions that Nigeria will record up to 100,000 cases by August ending.

We can't fight this virus. South Africa has executed ONE MILLION more tests than Nigeria. Even Ghana has done four times more testing than Nigeria. We are just fortunate that the virus here is not lethal, it would have been a different story.

When we ramp up the figures to the anticipated number they will tell us we have plateaued and then the figures will start coming down. A well orchestrated design to scam us blind.

No dear, cases are increasing around the world except in a few countries in Europe, being the initial epicentre. The Americas, Asia, African, countries are realising astronomical figures, but they cannot help but keep their economy running since there is no immediate end in sight. We are doing good here not because we are doing anything special, we are just fortunate.

Yeah we just can't, at least not anytime soon. What I see seems to be playing to our favour is a large chunk of those infected are in the 20-50 age range. Though there's been a cases of deaths from that age range also globally.

I thought south Africa would begin to level out by now given the testing sad. Oh well people are tired of the lockdown and corona i guess sad
