I hope you still remember there's a bill which will make the minimum requirements to be a degree?
You are exposing your ignorance the more, and also contradicting yourself. Now you said " there's a bill which will make the minimum requirements to be a degree" how does a bill which has not been passed affect Gov. Obaseki candidacy. Now I understand why somebody just called you "Ggegiri"

No. NYSC is not a must for governorship aspirants. A school cert is all he needs.

Which is not even the WAEC result.

Boy?
If you Followed the post from inception, you should know I responded accordingly. HE SAID, OBASEKI WON'T SUBMIT HIS NYSC. can a graduate present a degree certificate without NYCS old man?
Meanwhile, I never faulted the requirements.
Dapo Abiodun who is the governor of Ogun State did not present any NYSC certificate. Another case is that of Barrister Shitu Adebayo from Oyo State, who was Minister of Communication, he has no NYSC certificate.
Kemi Adeosun is a criminal who forged NYSC certificate.

Apc zoneB are confused slowpoke. Apc denied him their party ticket and expect him to bow out without fighting.

One ZoneB up there said it’s a win win for apc, how is it a win win for apc if he contest under another party and win?

You guys just come here and type rubbish, you think the Supreme Court will deny him of his mandate if he happen to win under another party? The credentials you waiting to use against him is the same he used to serve his first term, even though the judiciary is partisan, you think they want tommake a mockery of themselves like that?

People need to think before coming here to type the parlor gist they heard from their ward level uncles

Did he shew his credentials to judiciary before he contested in his first term?
So because he scaled through in his first term , they will give him soft landing now? Except there is nothing incriminating in his credentials now, will give him a lasting victory, even though judiciary may be aware of politics behind his travails, yet, they have to rule based on the evidence before them.

Did I faulted the fact of SSCE requirement for governorship position at first? Be logical. The response was on NOT PRESENTING NYSC CERTIFICATE BUT WILL PRESENT HIS DEGREE

Of he didn't and it wasn't used against him, his opposition are not informed.
On Adebayo shittu, can you tell why he was disqualified from contesting EXECUTIVE POST? Though his case is different.
Kemi Adeosun's case is also different, similar to Shittu's

A bill is merely a foetus and gains no force of law because it isn't a law properly so called. But where it proceeds in a living state out of the belly of lawmakers by virtue of enactment, then it becomes law.

In as much as he tendered his university results to INEC, he must have a corresponding exception letter or discharge certificate from NYSC to back it up. They will judge you by what you tendered before them, let's be properly guided

He will likely be asked to drop his deputy governor and accept the leadership of the party at state and local government level. Basically, he will only get the party ticket without getting to control the party structure.

But the like of Obaseki can not operate without having control of the party structure, why do you think he refused to swear in the 14 house of assembly members, it's to reduce the influence of Oshiomole in order for him to be in control.

Obaseki should take heart and glorify God almighty for giving him the chance to serve as the governor of Edo state in the last four years.
He should not bother himself with decamping to pdp or any other party.

Do you know even if is going to be a formality, he will still have to contest with other party's faithful aspirants in PDP? And there is a rule called head to head, it is not applicable only to football only?.

Did they say Obaseki does not have NYSC certificate. NYSC made a typing error Obasek instead of Obaseki.

This same issue happened to my room mate in his WAEC certificate back then in university during our certificate verification in final year he was cleared the moment the verification committee chairman saw it he said it was negligeable error Jonh as against John.

Beside Adeosun case is different NYSC never issued her a certificate but she presented one if she had not presented a certificate nothing would have happened to her, the immediate former minister of communication never went for NYSC and he never presented a certificate, he served out his tenure because he never lied that he served by presenting a forged certificate.

You are the one seeing it as error. Supreme court judge especially rosemary odili who works for pdp won't agree with you. She will call it inconsistency and award the other party with other people victory ..,Apc doesnt want balyelsa experience again

He is not in a good position to negotiate at the attempt. He either accepts the condition PDP gives to him or move to another party.

We need to be vast in our findings... If the deputy candidate to Leon could be dragged for the same credentials he uses to win election to the upper chamber. After all it is the same credentials he uses to serve as lawmaker. PDP dragged him and they benefited.. same technicality is going to be used on him and the PDP if they eventually won the election. Let's deal with facts and not emotions here

The law says the least qualification is ssce and you are here arguing blindly, if he chose not to present his higher degree you go force am, no wonder there is always mass failure in jamb.
ThatFairGuy:

You seems to be surprising sir. A graduate won't present NYSC? That NYSC is part of the degree certificate law is required of him. It can now be Either EXEMPTION LETTER or NYSC CERTIFICATE.

Yes you're right but in Obasek situation, it is gonna be tough. If he has not submitted his university certificate, fine. After all, Leon from Bayelsa only submitted WAEC and he won. Will Obaseki now do that? If he did, then he is lying about something and that is a pure criminal offence and they are gonna drag him to court for false documentation and forgery. Even his Higher School Certificate is not available.. he could not produce it. He only has a notification and not a certificate.
