He pointed the taser at the officer while running not cos he intended to harm d officer but rather give him opportunity to escape. The officers had several options nd using of lethal force shouldnt be one. Even if they lost him in the chase, they could hv been able to have him arrested some other time. they had his face on cam, they could hv gotten info from his vehicle reg details or docs found therein to pick him up someother time .
