They should start relaxing interstate and flight restrictions already.

We must learn how to live with the virus. It has come to stay.
How are we going to do that?

Where did these new cases visit that resulted in them contracting the virus? Shouldn't NCDC do the following to avoid others contracting the virus?

1. Profile all cases to ascertain where they visited
2. Lockdown those places and decontaminate them?
3. Request everyone who visited those places to self-isolate
4. Step up preventive measures at other places susceptible to contamination?

But no, we don't get to hear where they visited nor do we hear of any places being locked down. Initially we hear of hospitals with infected staff being locked down, why not public places? Jabi Mall has been locked down because of the illegal concert and decontamination expected to take place there ...why not these ones?

Besides ....how did places like Gombe etc without Airports getting infected during the lockdown? Are we sure what they're passing for COVID19 is not actually normal cold flu resulting from the rains? Or malaria fever? Something is definitely wrong.

Thank God the curve is flattened.
Religious activities can start,
Even centers can now open too,
Let the parties begin.

They should start 2021. The risks are still too high.

NCDC League Cup of Covid-19 should just declare Lagos FC champion the same day EPL will be giving Liverpool. It is too late for FCT aso rock fc and Kano United. Cross River fc and Kogi boys should prepare for for relegating to Lasar Fever championship or Corruption Cup.

Nay, this figure is no lie but in fact I believe it is a suppressed truth no thanks to undertrsting. I'm pretty sure the actual figure should be close to a hundred thousand.
We should however start learning to live with the virus.

Righteousness89:
My Sincere Condolences to the families of the Bereaved all over Nigeria..

It's High time the Government of Nigeria stop all these human efforts that does not take its root from GOD ALMIGHTY!

Despite all the lock up and lock down Lives are being wasted day by day!

GOD ALMIGHTY is not Happy with what is happening In Nigeria.. We are Afraid of Sickness and disease but we are not Afraid of GOD , the one who Has all the power to kill and Make life!

We take GOD to the background and Give rules and Regulations on How His House ( The Church) should Operate! This is a Slap on GOD!

The Government of the day sees no need to involve GOD Almighty in its affairs! That is why Today you see like they are in control, Tomorrow, the Casulties sky rocket!

I Advice The Federal and State Governments of Nigeria to take Heed, and take off their Hands from GOD'S Business!

I Advice the Federal and State Governments to seek for GENUIE Servants of GOD to Give Direction on What the Country to do..

These covid-19 challenges is beyond us as humans

Remove your Hands from GOD'S People! Don't give rules and Regulations on how to Serve GOD!

We all are Mere Creatures! So don't stand on the way of GOD! It's Dangerous!

They that Have Ears to Hear! Let them Hear!

It's already clear that the coronavirus pandemic is killing black and Latino people at a very high rate, but new data in recent days show how destructive people of color are to the covid-19 crisis.

Covid 19 is real In Nigeria

However, NCDC is a joke.

Stay safe my people.

Kano don pick form o shocked
I wouldn't say NCDC is a joke. Within the boundaries of their responsibility, I think they have been commendable. Coordination of the national response, and establishment of testing labs in almost all states now. The actual response is the duty of the state governments who are to align with the framework provided by the NCDC. Any failures in that front, we should know where to put blame.
Every single state where there is even 1 case has the tendency to degenerate to the current covid19 situation of Lagos today. So I think the gradual opening is just gradually putting safety responsibility back into the hands of each and everyone. Bold steps easing up in a few places had been followed by a quick recoil due to further worsening of the outbreak and we need to still be careful. Covid is a tough one and I always try to imagine what I would have done if I were the one coordinating the response. It's a lot of gamble with your signature appended and I'm kinda slow in condemning any efforts. Let's watch and pray.

At this critical point the govt needs to stop all fancy project and look for means to help the health sector in curbing this virus so that normality can be restored back to the country soonest.
I do feel this is not up for debate as the life of every citizen in the country worths every penny.

So Govt save the lives of your people first and growth and development would surely be yours.
